Product information "Montessori Marble Box"
The Montessori marble box is a real classic for early learning: the box teaches babies from around 6 months the concept of object permanence in a fun way. The fascinating toy motivates babies to grasp, let go and concentrate again and again. This encourages important developmental steps: Targeted grasping, controlled letting go, gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. At the same time, the child learns that an object has not disappeared just because it is briefly out of sight - a fundamental realisation in the first few months of life. The marble box also invites further experiments, for example when other objects are put through the opening to observe their rolling behaviour.
